Why Merino?
The ability of Merino to assist with temperature regulation means it is a perfect choice for premature babies all year round! Merino Wool has a natural crimp to the fibres which helps insulate from the cold but is breathable too - drawing moisture away from the skin.
Synthetic fabrics do not breathe and may cause baby to overheat, we always recommend natural fabrics like 100% Cotton or Merino Wool for baby's clothing, swaddles and bedding.
Merino is a natural renewable resource, making it enviromentally friendly as well as being a high quality, luxurious fabric.
How to wash your baby's hand knitted Merino garments:
Gentle Wash: Hand or Machine Washable on a Wool/Delicate cycle, 30°C Max. Placing the garment in a mesh laundry helps protect it from agitation.
Do Not Bleach: We recommend using a Wool detergent
Do Not Use Fabric Softener
Dry Flat in Shade
Do Not Tumble Dry
Low Iron if required
